Earle Street Kitchen and Bar
About This Spot
Stepping into Earle Street Kitchen and Bar in Anderson feels like entering a warm, inviting neighborhood gathering spot where southern hospitality is served just as authentically as the food. The atmosphere hums with friendly chatter and the clink of glasses, a lively yet comfortable pace that welcomes both locals catching up after a long day and visitors seeking a genuine taste of the region. You’ll find yourself drawn to the mix of cozy indoor nooks and bright outdoor seating, spots that make it easy to linger over good company and thoughtfully prepared meals.
The kitchen here works quietly yet confidently, crafting dishes that celebrate traditional southern flavors without pretense. From the gentle crispness of fried green tomatoes to the soulful depth of slow-cooked collard greens, every bite feels like a connection to heritage, lovingly adapted for the modern palate. The menu invites moments of discovery, from the perfectly seasoned blackened mahi shrimp over cheesy grits to the delicate balance of sweet and spicy in their honey Sriracha hot chicken.
Drinks are equally considered, with cocktails that have a subtle, refreshing touch—a rosemary lemon twist or the lively fizz of elderberry—that complement the food and the mood without overpowering. Brunch here adds another layer of conviviality, with a vibrant bar bustling to keep up with classic favorites like Bloody Marys and mimosas, enhancing the easy, social rhythm of weekend mornings.
The real draw is how Earle Street Kitchen and Bar feels like a place you can make your own — whether you’re settling in for a relaxed meal with friends, celebrating a small victory, or simply seeking the comfort of honest, delicious southern cooking. Call Earle! I need to speak with him right now! The Sunday Brunch is Amazing! Great brunchy options. Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar. Great indoor and outdoor seating! Great fast service and bartenders. The only downfall is you better get there! Because others know about Anderson's Best Brunch! P.S. Please order the COLLARD GREEN EGGROLLS! Thank me later!

If you want real southern food this is the place. They have true fresh southern food. Not the typical overly battered or overly sauced fair you find at so many places claiming to have southern food! One of the o only places I’ve ever eaten that made food just like my grandmother did!

Excellent meals we shared a generous meal of Chargrilled Pork Ribeye topped with a spiced brown sugar, walnut and golden raisin compound butter, with sweet potato hash and collard greens. No extra plate charge as we are seniors and traveling so no to go possibilities. Good service. A tad noisy but conversation was very possible. Prices were very reasonable for portion size.

This restaurant came highly recommended and I will give the overall experience 5 stars because it was well deserved. The ambiance and diversity of patrons was a clear indication I was in the right place. It was some of the most fantastic, guilt-free indulgence I have had yet. Hearty, delicious and visually appealing, ESKB is the type of place you would expect to find in a major metropolitan area, Anderson should be so lucky. The only criticism I have is that our waitress, who never introduced herself by name (the young lady with the blue hair) had such subpar service it was shocking. Although she smiled, she was rushed, made no recommendations, made no inquiry into our visit, and was clearly disengaged to the point I wondered if she wanted to serve my wife and I at all. People go through things, but as a former fine dining waiter in Atlanta, I know you must leave your issues at home when dealing with the public. My son fell very ill prior to my wife and I going on a much needed date night, so we had a looming issue of our own. Thankfully, my steak was cooked to such perfection that the stain of our servers presence was easily brushed aside and we will revisit this establishment without hesitation. I will tell everyone I know about this place. Great job ESKB! Please get that young lady some training, your menu and chefs deserve better.

A 5…EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Tonight I had the hot chicken with honey Sriracha drizzled over top. The chicken was very tender! However, instead of the chicken over grits and a side of collard greens, I had the mashed potatoes and fried okra. It was a hard choose, but I had grits this morning and I just can’t go without their okra. The taco platter included Maui Mahi, pork, and chicken. I also had the baked potato soup for starters. The menu is perfect with great choices.

I love this place. It’s your traditional southern fare, but with an elevated little twist on it to make it special. All the ingredients taste fresh and bright and the chicken whether grilled or fried is to die for. I love their salads because they crafted to be a blend of flavors and not just your normal, boring garden or chef’s salad. The fried goat cheese fritters are a MUST! And the fried green tomatoes?! Oh my.

We took family here while visiting. We are foodies and the menu was very hard to choose from. EVERYTHING sounded delicious. To our great pleasure, every meal was in fact delicious. We all had different dishes and we were all more than happy. Good southern meals at reasonable prices. Service was excellent as well. It was a bit noisy because all surfaces in the restaurant are reflective with nothing to absorb sound. Nice and clean to. Go and you won't be disappointed.
